2018/2019 - Author Assistant Services for Nick Mancuso & his PDF book 'Diary of Malibu Man' to an EPUB This project was a new venture for me. It began in 2018, when I suggested he convert his book into an EPUB. The services involved research (best place to self-publish suitable to the client, steps required in self-publishing, images, best pricing), consultation, formatting as per the guidelines, editing and administrative tasks (registering for an ISBN, creating an author’s account on Kobo Writing Life, and entering the content onto Kobo). Mr. Mancuso’s e-book was published June 21, 2019. |

June 2018 - Consultation on Crowdfunding
CeTA provided consulting services, on a volunteer basis, to the Nick Mancuso's GoFundMe medical campaign.
May 2016 - CeTA's Social Media presence
After researching several other companies, I chose Weebly to create Carole - eTemp Assist's website. I found it was more user friendly, had more options, and it was more economical price. Once I chose a template, I designed the layout, wrote and edited the content, and chose photos from Weebly's catalogue and from Pixabay.com.
In addition to my website, I created two Facebook Business Pages and two Pinterest profiles for both CeTA & CapEros Creations, as well as CeTA''s LinkedIn profile.
I maintain and manage my own website and other social media requirements.
2011/2012 - Consultation & Editing Dating Profiles
This was a pre-launch project where I assisted people with their online dating profiles, both mainstream and non-mainstream. First impressions are very important in any social or business interaction. But on social media, you only have a few seconds, if not less, to entice someone to read your profile and/or contact you. How you communicate, your choices of words and what you disclose were the next things to be reviewed. In other words, I assisted people in marketing themselves in their search for a relationship or relationships.
2009 - From business card to website
Services: Consultation, research, Desktop Publishing (business card & website building), editing
Before launching my business, I assisted a retired counsellor in starting his business. The project began with the creation of a business card. We used branding exercises to help him find a theme that would instill a sense of relaxation while complementing his style of counselling. After choosing a template from VistaPrint, I suggested he add a website where potential clients could find him. VistaPrint offered the ability to convert his business card into a one page website. He chose to add a few more pages.
Once he wrote the content, I did a quick edit due to his deadline in publishing his site.The last stage was building the site itself. I was impressed with how user-friendly their system was. The bonus was the ability to choose photos that suited the counsellor's vision. Within a few hours, he had a business website!

2009 - Powerpoint Presentation
This PowerPoint presentation was a collaborative effort between R. Dixon Management Inc. and the members of the Owners' Committee (Mary Gunter and myself) of Phase 1 Monterey Court. Our contribution included writing the content relating to our Association, editing and approving the final presentation. |
